For Educators
Located in Barberton, Ohio but our programs for students extend far beyond the Magical Theatre Company stage. Learn MoreBring Your Students to Us
Take your students on a thrilling trip to Magical Theatre! Seeing a live stage show during the school day is an inspiring, out-of-classroom experience for students and staff. We offer you the opportunity to make this a bigger, more engaging experience than just a one-day event.
First, students read the book.
Teachers use the Educational Study Guide provided by Magical Theatre Company to prepare students for the play. This lets you point out differences between the book and play and other insights that will pique the interest and arouse the curiosity of students long before they see the show.
Students experience the play.
After the play, students get to meet the actors, directors, sound operators and other crew members. They see these creative professionals as real people who listen to their questions and acknowledge them as young people who have something real to say.
To further engage students in the performance they experienced, teachers can use our Study Guide for lesson plans in most subjects, including language arts, physical education, social studies, science, math, life skills and more.

Kidscripts
Give your students the opportunity to write stories that will be brought to life by Magical Theatre’s professional acting company.
Our KidScripts program is used by educators as a tool to strengthen literacy and arts appreciation in the classroom – and students LOVE getting to watch their stories acted out in front of them and their peers in a “world premiere” performed right in their own school. What better hands-on experience for students than seeing how their own ideas get turned into a professional play!
Sold out for 2022.
