K.I.D. Camp Orientation and Auditions are being held on Saturday, June 11th, 2016 from 9:00am – 12:00pm at Magical Theatre (565 W Tuscarawas Ave. Barberton).

All campers new and returning are requested to attend. The staff will lead campers through some singing, movement and acting. Please wear tennis shoes or dance shoes, no sandals or flip flops. Campers may prepare a song (bring your own sheet music) – but it is not required.

It is imperative that you let us know prior to the audition if you will be attending.

Please call the office at 330.848.3708 to let us know if your camper will/will not be able to attend.

K.I.D. Camp seeks to introduce and develop basic performing skills in young people through age-appropriate classes in acting, singing and dancing. Classes are balanced with rehearsals, so that students can apply concepts learned in their class to their work onstage.


Magical Theatre Company seeks to provide an environment of trust, fun and hard work so that young people of all levels of experience may grow socially, physically and artistically.

Objectives, to:

  • Provide an outlet for self-expression
  • Encourage the use of the imagination
  • Develop public speaking skills
  • Strengthen social and mental awareness
  • Reinforce physical fitness and coordination
  • Build self-confidence, self-discipline and self-respect
  • Develop teamwork and ensemble-building skills
