A Newbery Medal winner and National Book Award for Young People's Literature
Stanley is under a curse, a curse that began with his no-good-dirty-rotten-pig-stealing great great grandfather. This hilarious and richly-woven tall tale has fate conspiring all along in the world of Holes. The great wheel of justice has ground slowly for generations, but now is about to reveal its verdict – in a very unusual and funny way.

In this honest and unflinching drama of life as a teenager, a window is opened into the tumultuous and destructive world of girls’ bullying. Based upon real-life interviews, the play explores the impact of “cyberbullying” – the use of cell phones, instant messaging, e-mail, and social networking sites. A
fabulous program in its 13th year designed to merge the
development
of writing skills with Theatre.
Your
students write stories and we bring them to life on-stage!
Our actor/teacher leads your students through a Writing
Rally – a workshop for creative writing. Students
then develop and write stories, submitting them to us in
October. Two stories from each school are selected and
adapted into short plays. Magical Theatre Company returns
in the Spring to perform these world premieres for your
entire school.
