Improv Apprentice

Ages: 7-9
Saturday 9:00am-10:00am at Magical Theatre Company
Tuition: $125.00

Imaginations will run wild as kids create and explore characters through improvisation and learn basic performance skills. Helping to shape a child’s mind to think on their feet and form creative ideas on the spot, this class will build their confidence and give them the ability to tackle the world head-on!

Exciting & Important Note: The final class will be held on 4th Friday, November 25 in the evening, and will feature a surprise performance by the class!


Improv Institute

Ages: 10-13
Saturday 9:00am–10:00am at ACoT (The Art Center on Tusc) next door to Magical Theatre Company
Tuition: $125.00

This class is all about jumping in and having fun. Students will develop their improvisational skills by learning how to be spontaneous, positive, and take risks - thus enhancing life on stage. We'll focus on creating characters, structuring a story, and will play tons of improv games designed to make better actors!

Exciting & Important Note: The final class will be held on 4th Friday, November 25 in the evening, and will feature a surprise performance by the class!


The Art of the Prop Master

Ages: 10-14
Saturday 9:00-10:00am at ACoT (The Art Center on Tusc) next door to Magical Theatre Company
Tuition: $135.00 (includes materials)

Making theater means creating other worlds onstage, including props. Imaginations will be stretched as your child works with a variety of materials to create Wizard Wands, Fake Cupcakes, Stage Blood and more. And, they get to take all their fantastic creations home!

Exciting & Important Note: The final class will be held on 4th Friday, November 25 in the evening, and will feature displays of the students’ props at the Art Center on Tusc!

  • Sessions are six weeks in length and the registration deadline is October 15th            
  • There are no refunds after October 15th

Mission & Philosophy:

Magical Theatre Company seeks to introduce and develop basic performing skills in young people through age-appropriate classes and workshops.  We provide an environment of trust, fun and hard work so that young people of all levels of experience may grow socially, physically and artistically.
